NRG Thrustmaster Adapter Review + Problem Fix

Upon receiving the Energy Adapter, we found a small box with the order confirmation and the Energy Adapter inside. The adapter comes in a compact aluminum box with the Energy logo on it. The adapter itself is pure aluminum and comes with its own screws, which is a plus. The installation is simple, and the instructions provided by Energy make it even easier.

The Energy Adapter is designed for Thrustmaster wheelbases, and it replaces the 3D printed adapter that comes with some aftermarket wheels. The adapter’s primary purpose is to provide a stable, reliable connection between the wheel and the rig, and it does that job well.

The adapter is well-designed, with a sleek, clean look that complements the TSXW wheel perfectly. The top of the wheel is red, and the adapter comes in a red color that matches it nicely. The combination of black and yellow on the OMP wheel, along with the red Energy Adapter, looks fantastic.

One issue we did encounter during the installation was that some of the bolts were blocking the quick-release mechanism, making the wheel wobbly. However, we were able to solve the problem by adding a metal and rubber ring to each bolt, which fixed the issue entirely.
